SER Trial Update - AGCC Team Atlanta

The venue to select AGCC 2008 Team Atlanta for SER cricket tournament has been changed to Mcnair-1. The following are the details.

Venue: McNair-1
Date: May 10th 2008
Time: 10:30 AM

The players are required to be at the venue by 10 AM or before to complete the registration for participating in the trials.

Clayton Lambert selected as a Coach of team USA for ICC WCL

Mr. Clayton Lambert of Atlanta Lions, a member club of AGCC has been selected as a coach for US team to participate in the ICC World Cricket League Div 5 tournament starting from May 23-31, 2008 in Jersey.

The AGCC Congratulates Mr Lambert for his selection and wishes best of luck for the team USA in the ICC WCL tournament.

Introducing Online Umpires Assessment & Umpires Match Report

AGCC is introducing starting from the 2008 cricket season an online umpires assessment by captain's of the club and online submission of Umpires match report. During the trial period of the system the online Umpires assessment by the captain of every club and Umpires match report will be optional. During this period both online and paper method will be available for reporting. After the conclusion of the trial period the Umpires assessment will be mandatory and the Umpire match report will be online replacing the current paper method. The process of submitting reports online will take approximately 2-4 minutes only. Once implemented successfully the Umpire Assessment will assist the AGCC Umpiring Committee to improve the standard of umpiring. The online submission of Umpires match report will also bring many benefits for league including transparency in all level and an efficient and effective method of the analysis of reports submitted.. The system will also be used for the nomination for the Best Umpire of the Year award and nomination for the Spirit of the Cricket award..

5. Click on Captain’s report.

6. Five questions only and should not take more than few minutes to answer.

7. Click on Submit

AGCC Preliminary League Fixture 2008 released

AGCC 2008 Preliminary league fixture for group North and South has been released. It can be easily access from our resultvault link. A PDF version of the fixture will be released soon. The North and South Preliminary league for the qualification of the Premier league or Star league is schedule to start from April 6th 2008. AGCC has implemented the 30 yard rule for all the matches.

Umpiring Seminar - A Sucess

Umpiring seminar was held on March 15th 2008 and 34 applicants took the AGCC Level-1 exam. The results are expected to be announced within the next few days.
